Today has marked 27 years since Selena Quintanilla-Perez passing. Her music is just as impactful today as it was during her prime. Many always remember her music but today in memory of Selena I wanted to focus on her love for fashion. Selena alongside her mother designed the stage outfits for Selena y los Dinos. She mastered her curations and opened up her first boutique and salon, SELENA ETC.
At this time Selena began working with designer Martin Gomez which elevated her taste in couture. The duo prepped to launch their first clothing line.
In 1994 Martin and Selena held the launch of their line at Hemisfair Arena. Selena had a keen eye for fashion that became a staple in the Selena brand.
